Our Story

As a young girl I’d always dreamed of being a wife and a mother.

Being a Wife – This part of my dream has come true.   My husband David is an amazing husband and person.  He teaches 7th grade Math and coaches 2 competitive soccer teams.  He is loving, caring, dedicated, an all-around wonderful and warm hearted person.

Being a Mother – This part of my dream has been an emotional rollercoaster for both of us.  Dave and I are high school sweethearts and have talked about how many kids we’d have, their gender and what they’d look like (we’ve even picked out names) for the last 15 years.

Then our lives were turned upside down in April 2011 when we found that circumstances beyond our control have taken away the option of a natural-conception for us.  At the age of 30 I was diagnosed with “Severe Decrease Ovarian Reserve”.  We now have 2 options to start our family – IVF (In vitro fertilization) with an egg donor or Adoption.

  1. Thank you for sharing your story! In October of 2011, my husband and I were given a very similar diagnosis. I certainly appreciate learning from everyone like us who has gone through similar journeys. I look forward to following your journey to parenthood!
